Compete & Condition

Maintain Composure, Build Topline

Compete & Condition is a high calorie/energy feed for horses and ponies that need to put on or maintain weight and condition. It is also ideal for competition horses and ponies, or those in higher levels of work. Being whole cereal grain and molasses free it is higher in fibre and lower in starch and sugar than traditional conditioning feeds. The energy that Compete & Condition supplies comes from its high fibre and oil content which is an excellent source of slow release, stamina giving energy. Compete & Condition contains a good level of high-quality protein sources, which alongside exercise provide the horse with the building blocks for top line development and maintenance.

When Calm & Condition launched in 2001 it provided owners with an alternative to the high cereal content, high starch and sugar competition feeds that were currently available on the market. Quickly becoming a very popular choice, Calm & Condition has fallen into the low starch and sugar bracket for competition/conditioning feeds for a long time. As our understanding of horse’s dietary requirements has developed and feeds have moved towards high fibre, very low starch and sugar Calm & Condition’s place in the market has shifted from our only high calorie, low starch feed to one better suited for horses in higher levels of work. Due to these reasons and to ensure owners are selecting the most beneficial feed for their horses we have decided to rename Calm & Condition to Compete & Condition- the same great feed but a new name.

Reviews

First of all I just want to say a HUGE thank you for making such a fantastic feed! I rescued Annie in April 2016, she was underweight and her coat was dull. I put her straight on Calm & Condition and not long after she looked like a different horse. She is now full of life, a healthy weight and has the shiniest coat on the yard.

I highly recommend your feed, it's amazing!

I have been using Allen & Page feeds for the last 5 years and I wouldn’t go back to using anything else. All of my horses are fed on it, including my top horse Wonder Why. My favourite feed is Calm & Condition, as it gives Disney (Wonder Why) the energy he needs to jump at top international level, without getting him over excited.
